Following a majority vote by their City Council colleagues, Mayor Rosa E. Perez and Vice Mayor Karina Macias assumed their new offices on March 17.

This is Mayor Perez's first term as Mayor of Huntington Park after being elected to the City Council in March 2011. Mayor Perez previously served on the City's Planning Commission.

Vice Mayor Macias was previously elected to the City Council in March 2013.
