The City will kick-off its new Bicycle Initiative with the inaugural HP Gran Prix bike race on Pacific Blvd. starting at 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 19. Co-hosted by Wolfpack Hustle cycling club, the HP Gran Prix is a fixed-gear bicycle sprint race on a 1,000-foot precision timed course. The event also will feature bicycle safety information and equipment giveaways funded through bicycle initiative grants.

Race entry is free for Huntington Park residents and $10 for non-residents. Up to 200 people can enter to compete. Registration is available online at WolfpackHustle.com/HPGranPrix.
