[ARCHIVED] Take a Stand Against Crime at National Night Out on August 6

The Huntington Park Police Department invites you to give crime and drugs a going away party at National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 6 from 5-9 p.m. at Robert H. Keller Memorial Park, 6550 Miles Avenue.

National Night Out is an annual crime prevention event that emphasizes the importance of police-community partnerships; heightens crime and drug prevention awareness; increases public safety; and promotes various community services. This is the 16th straight year that the Huntington Park Police Department has co-sponsored this event.

The National Night Out celebration features the following FREE activities:

- Movie at the Park: “Despicable Me”
- A candlelight / flashlight “stand for community safety” vigil
- Emergency Equipment and Vehicle displays by the Huntington Park Police Department
- Informational Booths
- Police car rides
- Snacks and refreshments
- Hot Dogs
- Balloons
- Raffle and giveaways
- Kid I.D. fingerprint kits (to first 100)
