The Mayor, City Council, and City Staff extend their deepest condolences to the Rivera Family on the tragic loss of Jenni Rivera, the Diva of Banda Music. It is hard to understand why people are taken from us, but find comfort in knowing she brought tremendous joy to many with her gift of music.

Jenni was a true professional, caring and loving person. Her amazing vocals and music inspired the Latin community and broke cultural barriers.

She will live in our hearts forever and will be remembered fondly.
