Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday:  8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
                         Sunday: Closed


Welcome to the Department of Parks & Recreation. The department offers a wide range of recreational classes and activities; youth and adult sports leagues; youth programs; and open park and athletic facilities.

  • In an effort to raise funds for the ACS Relay for Life, the City will be hosting the 2015 Weight Loss Challenge.  For more information on this challenge, please click here to download the flyer.  To download the application, click here.    
  • In celebration of the Month of the Child (April), the City of Huntington Park will host a Family Fun Fest on Saturday, April 25, 2015.  As part of the event, the City will host a 1-hour Superhero Fun Run.  Click here for more information.
  • Huntington Park’s newest jewel – the Honorable Kevin de Léon Campo de Fútbol at Salt Lake Park – officially opened following a grand opening celebration on September 6, 2014.  For more information about the soccer field, please click here
