  1. Complete Streets Workshop

    October 21, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Freedom Park

    Join the California Center for Public Health Advocacy (CCPHA) to learn the information and skills you’ll need to participate in the development of the City of Huntington Park’s Complete Streets Plan this fall. The 2-hour workshops are offered in English and Spanish and include homework. Participants will be encouraged to walk central corridors in the city to assess barriers to walking, bicycling, and transit. Food/refreshments, childcare and raffle prizes provided!

  2. Senior Halloween Dance

    October 24, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Huntington Park Community Center

    The Huntington Park Community Center will host the annual Senior Halloween Dance on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is open to all seniors. This annual party will have a combination of costume contests, raffles, games, dancing and prizes. It is also a great way to meet and mingle with other senior citizens in the community.

  3. Senior Trip: Agua Caliente Casino

    October 30, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM @ Huntington Park Community Center

    The City of Huntington Park is hosting senior trips to the Spotlight Casino (September 4), Agua Caliente Casino (October 30), and Fantasy Casino (November 20). The bus for each trip departs at 7:30 a.m. and returns at 6:00 p.m. For more information, contact the Huntington Park Community Center for more information at (323) 584-6352.

  1. Keep Our City Clean-Cleanup Event

    October 25, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Middleton Elementary School (in front of Malabar St.)

    Come join us as we conduct a clean up effort and beautify our city and have fun doing it. Light refreshments and equipment will be provided. This is a great opportunity for students to earn service credits. Come and meet your neighbors; merchants and corporate volunteers welcome.
