[ARCHIVED] UPW looking to hire local residents at job fairs on Oct. 25 and Nov. 8

United Pacific Waste (UPW) - the new solid waste management contractor for the city - is looking to hire qualified sanitation truck operators and general administrative personnel who live in Huntington Park. UPW will hold job fairs on the following dates to find local employees as it begins trash collection service in Huntington Park on January 1, 2015:

Saturday, October 25
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Huntington Park Community Center
6925 Salt Lake Ave.

Saturday, November 8
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Salt Lake Park recreation center
3401 E. Florence Ave.
