Looking for an opportunity to make a difference in your community? The LA County Superior Court is currently seeking qualified citizens to apply for the LA County Civil Grand Jury. Applicants must possess each of the following qualifications:

1. Citizen of the US
2. At least 18 years old
3. Resident of LA County for at least one year
4. Ordinary intelligence, sound judgment, fair character
5. Working knowledge of English

The primary functions of the Civil Grand Jury are to investigate county, city, and joint power agencies and act as a "watch dog" by examining the operations of various government agencies.

Jurors will volunteer 30-40 hours per week and earn $60 for each full day of service.
